I work with self-made designs and also by collaborating with designers to build interactive, accessible and user friendly products. From working on small scale apps for local businesses to larger scale international products like Schooltry, Schooltry Tertiary, GoHealth for the Gombe State government and the National Digital Registry for Nigeria, I've worked on, debugged, created and designed features and products used by thousands in their daily lives and professional lives.

As part of the tech unit of the first ever Ted X event in Zaria, I worked with a team of designers and developers to build, implement designs and launch the website for TedX Samaru.

Also used by Gombe State government is a nation-wide database for used to identify and qualify poverty-stricken citizens in Gombe State and then qualify them for the healthcare services being offered to the poverty-stricken in Gombe State.

Hello! my name is Yusuf Shehu, I'm a laravel and vue developer. I've been building things for the web for 5 years(and counting). I live in Nigeria and currently work as a fullstack developer and Lead developer at UBTConsults.

I am an experienced engineer with a proven track record of developing and maintaining high performance real world apps with highly customised and engaging user experiences. Capable of conceiving and implementing new projects as well as optimising and improving legacy codebases. Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.

I specialize in web dev with vue and laravel but I also dabble in Graphics Design, UI/UX Design and Mobile dev. I enjoy working on developing User friendly experiences for the web and collaborating with designers to do so.

Over the course of my career i've been privileged to work at a Startup, develop multiple applications for Government Organisations, high profile Organisations, build applications for new companies, ran a small graphics design brand and designed for individuals. I along with my teammates also maintain a codebase that services schools and colleges across Africa, in Sweden, UK and US.
